The mission trip this past August was amazing a very successful.
The outreach to the 210 ranchers in the town of Las Caobas is off to a great start thanks to Jim Fountaine initiative and the folks at Christian Veterinarian Mission (http://www.cvmusa.org/serve/short-term/why-go/)

For the strong local leadership team that God is forming in Breath of Life For three new mentors who being trained to work with our new students in January
For the spiritual grow of current students – The students are growing in ways that we have not expected and we praise God for this.
For the transformation on the parents of Luis Nunez and Yojanse - These are parents who have given their lives to the Lord and are reaching out into their communities.
For the new start of a new Bible study in Lajas, Dajabon
For the beginning of the Veterinarian ministry to 210 ranchers in Las Caobas area.
For the spreading reflective ministry that is empowering the church to be in the
community and be the light. Many men are making the Lord their Savior due to this ministry.
For the national church leaders developing in Santiago, Dajabon, La Romano, San Pedro de Macoris, San Juan and their surrounding towns. We have amazing local leaders who are mobilizing into their communities with the gospel of Christ.
For the opportunity to bring the truth of God into the University campuses
For all the volunteers on site to support the program
For the local and USA donors who financially support this ministry
For the University decision to keep open the medicine track open in Santiago. Due to political reasons, classes were stopped for over two weeks with the potential of closing down the medical track profession at the Santiago campus. We have more than half of our students taking this profession.
For Bella’s sister and husband latest commitment to support Bella by visiting her regularly. Bella was abandoned by her parents and raised by her sister. Having her sister come and support is a big deal. Restoring broken relationships is one of our goal for healing for our students. Praise God for this.
For the Montero Family (Henry, Maria, Elizabeth and Lizbeth) as they continue to lead the program, disciple the students, train mentors and raise funds.

For the purchase of a 30 passenger bus for continual mobilization of the students and
local ministry teams into ministry areas - $80k.
For the purchase of house to expand the ministry. We will have room for the next 5 students in the existing facilities but will need to expand beyond this – need to raise
$125k for this.
For our relationship with the Universities (UASD & ISA). Due to political reasons, we need wisdom to know how to work with these entities and grow in our relationship with them.
For the fuller participation of some of the students’ parents – a few of them are not
fully engaged due to their work and finance. We are trying to figure out how to assist in this.
For unity among the students, mentors, local church leaders
For students preparation for final projects and exams in November
For the formation of a strong prayer team for this ministry
For next preparation and effectiveness of the Mentoring Trip this November 28 – Dec 6, 2014. We will working on spiritual formation as a means to grow as disciples. Please pray for those who are going and those who will be ministered to. Here is a list of participants:

Pray for Raquel Martinez as she continues to deal with her bipolar depression – pray for healing. Thank God she got a job working in the school system.
Pray for Jose Martinez’s work situation. Causing at lot stress and it is becoming very demanding. Pray for Wisdom to talk with supervisor.

o We are reading – the Way of the Heart by Henri J. M. Nouwen – Pray that this will help transform our relationship with Jesus.
